The Event

On our way back from The First MTrip in 2015 while riding on the highways talking on the radio the decision was made – next year we are going to Switzerland! So here we are one year later with a planned 4000 km trip to the most famous, exiting and breathtaking places in the Alps shared between Italy, Switzerland and Austria. Most of them are praised and sung in TV series as Top Gear and the like that you most probably have already watched. In these movies you see the drivers enjoy the curvy roads in beautiful sport cars among breathtaking mountain views… That is what we BMW fans call “Sheer Driving Pleasure”! So here is our list of the mountain passes that we are about to cross:
– Stelvio Pass, Italy
– Albula Pass, Switzerland
– Maloja Pass, Switzerland
– Splugen Pass, Switzerland
– San Bernardino Pass, Switzerland
– St Gotthard Pass, Switzerland
– Sasso San Gottardo, Switzerland
– Furka Pass, Switzerland
– Grimsel Pass, Switzerland
– Susten Pass, Switzerland
– Klausen Pass, Switzerland
– Silvretta Classic, Austria
– Grossglockner High Alpine Road, Austria

Do you remember those chocolate bars from our childhood with a mountain peak on their wrapping?! That’s right – this is Matterhorn peak! And as we are going to Switzerland there is no way we could miss seeing it:
– Matterhorn Peak, Switzerland
– Eiger Peak, Switzerland

On our way back tired from the highways we plan to drink some beers and stroll around the most famous and beautiful Slovenian lakes:
– Lake Bled, Slovenia
– Lake Bohinj, Slovenia
